Ever seen that commercial that says "Wish you were somewhere else?" That was me after I realized what I did. lol. Being that dumb is one thing but putting it out there for everyone to see is another. Oh well, it would be embarrassing if it didn't happen all the time.

Anyway, as far as the little knock I honestly don't know if it did that all the time & is normal or if it just came to my attention. I have a 08 dually all stock. The way all this got started was after the oil change I drove about 400 miles & then parked in my driveway which is at a little angle back towards the street. Went out the next morning & saw a big oil spot underneath the truck. (Sunday) Freaked out thinking they did something wrong so I started watching the temp gauge to make sure my oil pressure was ok. Doh. That's when I started listening to the engine & noticed the little rattle. Probably was there all the time. The oil spot, as explained by my mechanic on Monday, was a failure by Valvoline to catch the oil before it dripped onto a pan underneath there but he told me to watch it ( not knowing at that time I can’t read gauges). Parking at an angle allowed it to spill off. I posted here & then on Tuesday morning, of course having the same oil pressure anomaly, my mechanic calmly pointed out the oil gauge to me. I then immediately went to the grocery store & bought 2 cartons of milk so I could get the large paper bag, threw away the milk & wore the paper bag over my head. As far as oil changes go I have always done it between 6-8k. That’s it. Gonna cut some eye holes in the paper bag now. Heard a lot of honking yesterday. Thanks guys.
