I'm just off to look at the link, but from what I've seen from the dealers listing new 08s on Ebay, GM's cash rebate has actually reduced by $2500.
If anyone knows of an 08 3500 dually, LTZ 4x4 crewcab in almost any colour except white,
at a bargain price, let me know
