Need Some Advise

hey friends and family i need help......


how do i tell if my glow plugs are going out? i have this loud noise at start up but goes away with in 2 sec. its a loud diesel noise hard to explain,,.... i was told its because my glow plugs are not heating up enough so when i start the motor its still cold,,,> sound right or what......also if this is the problem what kind should i get and were..... while i change them im going to be throwing in some marine injectors in her as well...IF ANYBODY HAS ANY USED PARTS TURBO'S ANYTHING EVEN IF ITS A FORD OR DODGE(NEEDS TO BE A WORKING ONE,ILL TAKE IT )( CONSIDER IT A LATE BIRTHDAY GIRFT.... ILL PAY SHIPPING, IM TRYING TO BUILD UP MY MOTOR AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF I CAN DO A CUSTOM TURBO INSTALL............THANKS EVVERY BODY HAPPY TURKEY DAY

Id say thats normal. All my diesels make a loud knocking diesel noise at first start up. Especially when the temperature is cold.
