Got a 93 6.5 dually with maual trans. The thing won't start with out rolling and popping into gear. It will turn over just won't fire. once it is running it runs great. It isn't the starter either. anybody else have the same problem ever?

Hmm I think I know what it could be. There is a "lift pump" under the drivers seat on the frame. It supplies the injector pump with fuel. To check it remove the fuel filter and have someone turn the key on when you look into the canister. With ther key one fuel should be going into the filter bowl. Mine went bad and I had a hell of a time getting it started especially when it was hot?

I finally got around to really looking into it and found a loose wire on the fuel shut off. I got it tight and it started perfect. Has been running great since.
