How hard is the 6.5 to TUNE ?

How much HP & TQ have you guys been taking out of the 6,5 i do realize it's nowhere near the 6,6 but shouldn't you be able to get a reasonable amount of power from those workhorses ?

Ya the 6.5's are a little tuff to get extra power out of. You can play with them and get a inline plug to add power but your pretty limited.

Im not sure about the cummins. Im sure if yuo had the time there changeable but you'd have to change the wiring harness, computer, motor mounts and might be able to get a adapter for the trans.

Do a search for Heath Diesel. They are about the best there is in tuning the 6.2 and 6.5s. I am sure they could answer your question about the turbo too.

They make a chip that I think you run inline in your trucks wiring harness and its suppose to add power. They use to be on ebay but I found them on another site.
