Just checkin. Thats exactly what to do! When I pulled I only selected 2nd gear not third. I felt I could wind out the gear more quickly.

No use 4LOW and if you can select second or third gear. The firts time I pulled I used third and when it shifted into third the truck bogged down (it was completly stock). I used second gear my second pull and it seemed to help out alot. aggar is alos right. You best bet is to lower the torsion bars before the pul if you can. especially if you have niger tires and they are higher than stock.
The one tip I have is roll into the pedal gradually. Then once its in the gear you want (2nd 3rd) roll into it hard. You want to get speed quickly before the sled gets heavy. Then you'll have good momentum.
