| Gauges install Hey guys im getting ready to install my new autometer gauges, boost and pyrometer.
im not very experienced with any of this stuff so all the help i can get would be great. i have already tapped a hole in my manifold for the pyrometer (have the edge in ther now) but im curious about where to tap for the boost gauge?
i have an LLY and it seems to me i will tap the tube with a black plastic cover on it ( not the 6.6 cover a different one that looks like more of a protector shield)
it looks like the EGR tubing runs right under neath it or to it?
ill take that off and tap it?
as for the electrical part and lighting how hard is that? and after reading diesel manor's write up on it it seems to me that i only run the pyrometer to the trucks ignition? why is that, it says nothing about boost. will it be alot more understanding when i actualy get the gauges, how are the instructions that come with them?? or is ther any.
big thing is im looking for reassurance on where to tap for the boost fitting, any pictures of the LLY would be GREATLY appreciated, pictures help me alot, lol im not the best with this stuff but im learning!
thanks for allt he help, Matt
