Thanks for all the info guys.

I just installed my new MBRP 4 " straight pipe exhaust. First off all I can say is "WOW CAN SHE BREATH NOW!!!!"

The exhaust has fixed my temps on the freeway from reaching anything over 210 (unloaded). It has also lowered my EGT's almost 200 degrees.

The sound is awesome but so was my 1/2 ton right after I installed a new exhaust. After a few weeks it was not as loud Will see how it sound after a month?

It also fixed the defueling issues I was having with the edge. The guy from edge told me the truck defuels for two reasons.

1st is EGT Temps are to high.
2nd Trany slippage

I did a 1/4 mile run with both EGT temps and Tranny slip gauges up. Luckly for me my tranny was not slipping it was only my EGT's getting to the max %.

After the straight pipe I can now run the edge on level 3 with little to no backdown %. My truck has never ran better!

I just installed it yesterday and have notice my AVG miles per gallon has gone up 2mpg and still going up. This is based off the trucks computer not hand calculated. We all no know how inaccurate the computers avg MPG's are but still driving style has not changed and the computer is reading more MPG so im kind of excited Ill let everyone know what I get after the hand calculation
