The sad part is thousands will lose their jobs because of a company not looking ahead and preparing for a different world. The CEO will make his millions and the government will bail out Ford. The CEO should be fired today!! Why would you keep him on? I feel so bad for all the families that are going to be hurt and destroyed by this man who calls himself a CEO. What a shame!! and the other car companies aren't far behind. Toyota is doing well but they are building a fuel effecient car and have for years. Why weren't the others doing the same? The old saying of "you snooze you lose" is all so true!! Sorry for the rant!!

You are right on the mark! This is the same problem that General Motors is going through. The person at the top never pays the price for failure. They just give themself a bonus as employees are loosing their jobs, homes and everything else they worked a lifetime for. So much for loyalty! A large percentage of business failures are from mismanagement at the top! You have to be able to prepare for the future. It's not like this fuel problem just popped up from nowhere. Hell, I still remember when we had odd and even days to purchase fuel. Now I'm giving away my age!
