I have a Superchip tuner,new,only 300 bucks!!The hottest tune on it is 87.5 hp,so,you don't have to worry much.
I have tried to kill my trans,
but cannot do it with this programmer,safe,and pretty cheap IMO...I picked some mpg after tuner and straight piping it!!
