It does sound like I should stop with the 265's. It would be nice to have the 85's but they would never fit without the help of a lift first.
I was investigating to see if there were opinions on any other 10 ply load E tires performing decent in the snow and mud. There was a spot this past winter which was about 15' long that had like a 5-6" gradual slope, that's it, and I'd be stuck every time, with six logs and three sand bags in the back. So yeah, I was shopping for a different tire.
In case I can't afford new tires again next spring I'd be running the new ones for quite a while, so a real gnarly tire is out. Something like the Dura grappler or Silentarmor looked good for this, just hadn't heard how there were doing in the sloppy stuff, same with the Dueler.
Thanks.
