Sounds like the ECM troubles but not really sure. If you end up having to replace it, call Guy Tripp at Socal Diesel (i think he is Trippin' on here or dieselplace.com). He can get you a new ECM pretuned with EFI live for 300-500 which is about the price of a chip maybe cheaper depending on what chip.
