I am tagged @ 43,000 for the combo of the truck and trailer together, and where I live in VA, that is all that is needed. As far as DOT, the only state that I have had a problem with is Florida, and I generally do not haul too far west. I stay on the east coast with it, and most of the time I can also play dumb, you know, tell them I am a farmer transporting my own trees and they do not give me problems.
As far as the bags, I am installing them in the nest weeks or so, as soon as things slow down a bit from setting up this years' contracts for Christmas trees, and pumpkins, etc. But yes sir, they have an auxilary tank, and incab gauges and controller to make adjustments on the fly if needed.

Oh, and yeah, I am installing bags on this truck just in case, but I plan an also buying a 1 ton dually this year to do the bulk of my hauling with, if it breaks down though, I want this one to be ready if needed... Let's put it this way, the only problem I had was riding the bumpstops on a couple of the loads last year...
OOOHHH!!! I forgot, last year DOT in NC pulled me in and spent 45 minutes in the rule book trying to find something to give me a ticket for, (the Guy was a real "Piece of Work") but his boss finally told him to let me get back to work and to leave me alone....
