Well, I saw a few names here that I've seen in other places over the years! I have been a first gen Dodge guy for the past 10 years and was going to buy a new Dodge but couldn't pull myself to do so with the problems they are having with the new 6.7's. I think those DPF's are going to be a real problem, not just with Dodge but all the maufacturers.
So, in order to get a newer truck and stay away from all the smog stuff, I picked up a 2005 Chevy 4x4 Duramax/ auto that only has 18,000 miles on it. Will actually get it tomorrow. It is bone stock but I'll be wanting to do a few things to it. So forgive me in advance if I ask something that might have been beat to death already. I'll try too search stuff out before asking.
First things are going to be intake and exhaust along with some gauges then a controller. Maybe a water meth system down the road.
I did a lot of stuff to my Dodge so I'm not new to the diesel performance stuff, just to the Duramax. |
