| The glow plug controller rarely goes bad on a Cali emission truck. You probably have a bag glow plug. Take a test light and connect it to the positive side of the battery and touch each glow plug at the tip. The test light will light up on the good ones and will not light up or light dim on the bad ones.
It should also be noted the the 02-04 LB7 with California emissions have an extened warranty on the glow plugs for 10 years or 200,000 miles. If you truck is sill under this then the dealer will fix it for free. |
