| i installed 3 sets already and it's very straight forward to do..measure where you want to cut the hole and then if you have a 5" bed kit cut a 5" wide and roughly 8" long with the hole little off centered to the driverside of the truck and if it's a 4" bed kit then drop the hole size down an inch.
the pipes get hot enough to melt plastic that lands on it but other then that you'll be fine.
