So I got my 5th wheel to day ready to go to the beach for the long weekend and everything went great. I brought it home and when I shut off the truck it sounded like metal grinding. I had my wife re-start it and I crawled under and we did it a few times and the grinding happened ever time. It appears that it is comming from either the trans or something near the trans. I did notice on the drivers side there is a smaller axle or what not (dont know much about the mechanical aspects of the vehicle) and where it attaches in the front there seams to be a leak. I am assuming this is part of the 4 wheel drive which I rarely use. I am calling the dealer tomorrow but I was hoping someone would know what was going on. Any info is greatly appreciated. Dont want this to ruin my weekend.
