| If you're going to drain it, I would refill it with transynd. If not just use DexIII. 7.4 qts I believe. You could swith to another synthetic but it must meet the Allison 295(?) standard.
From what I have read you don't flush an allison (with a machine, anyway).
There is a "Hoot method"... maybe one of the other guys with more knowledge can tell you which is the best way to go.
