Which one first.....
We'll go with the buillt CR Dodge diesel. So I moved to town about 6 months ago. I don't know anyone really but there are LOTS of diesel trucks - mostly Dodges with the occassional Ford and stock Duramax. Well, I like to hot rod around a bit and roll the local hangouts blowing smoke and entising the youngens. So one day I finally stop and chit-chat with these two guys in a Ford. They ended up not wanting to race but did want to go for a ride. So I give them a little show, let er wrap to about 4K before I let out. To say they were impressed is an understatement!

they asked if I have raced Such-n-such in a black 3rd Gen dodge. I hadn't and told them the same but knew of the truck they were talking about so I kept an eye out for it.
One evening I catch site of smoke flyin and low and behold, it was him. So I high-tail it to catch up to him and send a little "signal" as I go on by. He has no part of that and we begin to toy on down the road. His charger was absolutely beautiful sounding. We go to the hangout spot to chit-chat a minute and he asks if I wanna race. Well, duh, it was on.
He goes and fills up and I follow in persuit. he asks to go from a 30mph kick so I agree and he does the count down. 3..... 2..1 He quick counted me bad but not enough.

I got the cahrger cought up before he even had a half a truck on me and just pulled away. By the time I hit 100 I was well in front and pulling away HARD!!! So he let out and I did as well.
We go back to the hang out and he was real cool about it. I told him what I had done (Mcrat race tune, 5" exhaust and an el' cheapo intake I had put on an hour prior) and he told me what all he had done. He had JUST spent $6k on his motor. He had injectors, a large charger, head work, a cam, oring, etc. I was in awe. He also said he had nitrous and propane but wasn't using it cause thats how he blew his motor before he had this one built.

In his defense I said it was a bit unfair me being an auto and him a stick with stock clutch. He said no. His clutch was holding good enough to bark tires in 3rd and 4th and he was no stranger to quick shifting since he has raced cars for years. He said I was simply just much faster. he also said it was the first time he had been beat by anyone in this town. Yes, double score. I later found out he has been beat plenty in other towns though.
I went home that night ready to freakin propose to my truck. She made me sooooo proud I could hardly stand it.
Sorry for the book but I felt like I had to "set the scene" for you to entirely appreciate it.
