| ford rickson wheels for a gm?
I have an 02' 2500HD 4x4 that I would like to buy some 19.5s for. There are some Rickson wheels for 99-03 Ford SWR available used in my area. From the Rickson website, it looks like the offset difference between the GM and the Ford wheels is about 1". It looks like the Ford wheels be located about 1" outside the GM wheels. Does anyone have an opinion on if this is a bad deal. It seems like less than an inch isn't much but I don't know what kind of effect it might have on handling or component wear. I would like to save the money on used Ricksons but I don't want to cause problems that would erase any savings. Thanks for your input. |
