| I have a full frontend replacement on my 02' it has been there for 140k miles and I have not had to make any suspension or chassis repairs save one set of tie rod ends. By contrast my last pickup was an 01' Dodge 3500 (with a ranch hand front end replacement) which I used in the same manner as the chevy and sold with 235k miles on it and it was a great pickup but I had to replace the ball joints 4 times and I am not sure how many times I replaced the track bar before getting some lukes links. Moral of the story... I guarantee you won't have trouble with the Chevy frontend and the ranch hand even if you go with the whole replacement. |
