What to do when fuel gelled?

My truck will crank but wont fire. it was about -14 last night and it wasnt plugged in. no aditive in it. Do i bleed the fuel filter and put 911 in the tank or what? thanks for any help

Make sure the primer is hard first....

Then if not, change your filter, fill up half the filter with 911 and dump the rest in the tank...Prime and hopefully it starts.

If its an EMERGENCY then you can try cranking the motor with your foot to the floor. Worked on the Dodge once when it started crying about how cold it was and didn't feel like starting. Isn't good for the truck by any means but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

Get some 911 and read the directions about what happens when your fuel is gelled, works like a charm every time, good luck!

mine wont run either. i run stanadyne in it though. it will start and run for a few seconds and then die.

its probably gelled in the filter.

its not supposed to be this cold in colorado

get the red jug of 911 half fill filter with it and the rest fuel put on the put rest of jug in thank let sit for a while prime bulb then start

Alrighty guys thanks a million! I have never had this problem cuz i usually plug it in and have additive in it. but this college stuff prevented me from doing that.
