wont start

i have a 2002 gmc 2500hd duramax problem started when i would move tilt up or down the headlights would go off so i took off column trim and found 2 burnt wires that were loose from the connectors when i was trying to take the plug loose from blinker assembly i must have touched 2 contacts i heard a pop come from passenger side dash and dome light went out well tried to start it but only turns over and also door lock on driver door will lock but wont unlock everything else works checked all fuses and all are ok except the 30 amp on stud 1 under hood any advise would be appreciated

do you have a security light? You did check the ignition fuses right? this is strange problem....have you tried to make sure the fuel system is primed? I will have to think about this one for a little bit and see if I can come up with anything. BTW...Welcome to the Forum!!!

Everything in your truck is protected by fuses or relays. You MUST check all of these as most likely one of them will be your problem.
