Mind ya this only would happen on flat land. I can imagine in Ohio or Colorado and Arizona, where there are constant challenges of pulling hills and mountains, this just would not be tolerable at all. I have pulled my number 1 glow plug and have found fuel spraying out of the hole and the same with number 7. All the rest don't spray fuel with the ignition relay pulled out, which allows the engine to turn over and pressurized the fuel rails without firing the injectors. You tech pros, please correct me if I am wrong here. By having the glow plugs out, if I have a leaking injector, the fuel would spray out of the hole, right into my eyes as I look into the hole. Good injectors don't spray fuel out of the hole with no ignition relay in, or the injector not firing while cranking the engine. | Hey!
Have you heard of the Ice pick Fix. I read this on another site you might want to take a look at that before you go do something else! 1 and 7 are common to need this fix. you also might want to check for Harness rub also while you are there |
