may not be 911 but im throwing a p0700 and a p0777 code and they wont go off i clear them and they go right back on even in park idling i know what the codes are but what suggestions can i get??? and is it ok to drive??? need a cheap fix thanks

i let the truck sit for about 30 mins and reset the codes again and its still there so u think theres no option but rebuild. thanks and what do yall recommend tranny wise.. future power im wanting around 700 or so and be able to do heavy towing thanks. converter advice also appreciated.

mine threw those codes 2 times and both times i was heavy on thottle in 5-6 gear. i cleared it and now only whoop on it in 1 through 4 hasnt come back i believe the p0700is a general trans code that just tells you something is bad i know p0777 is second center selaniod stuck on thats bad i guess

it would sound to me me that it keeps coming back because that solenoid is in fact stuck. im no expert though maybe allisondan will chime in. its possible you have some debris floating around from burnt clutches. i would say start with a new spin on and check the fluid if its burnt change it

everyonre keeps sayingpo700 is a limp its justa trans system control error doesnt meeans its limped,somehting is going on but doesnt mean the tranny is shot,when I had the po700,the code behind there was my egr motor its been replaced and hasnt come back

thanks for the info i waited 30 mins and cleared the code then waited 30 more minutes till i started it and new spin on and 2 quarts of lucas stop slip. seems to be fine now. thanks for the help i was getting nervous
