What is this line?

This line goes into (or out of) the valve cover on the left side, at the front of the engine. It appears to be leaking. My truck is losing oil, and near as I can tell I think this is the source, but I can find NO information about this line, what it is, whether it is oil or fuel, is it o-ringed, etc?
Can someone ID it for me? I know it's hard to see in the pic, but if you go look at your truck you'll see it.
Thanks! I need to stop this oil leak. If this is NOT an oil line, what else on the left side might be leaking oil?

Sorry, truck is an 03 2500HD. My first thought was that it was an injector line, but then someone told me they thought it was an oil return line, and that seemed kinda odd to me.
My truck developed an oil leak on the left side that has me puzzled, and I saw all the residue on the valve cover that seemed to come from this fitting. I had new injectors installed about 10k miles ago under the extended warranty. Once I find the oil leak I'll get it all cleaned up and see if this fitting is leaking.
Thanks!! This is my first diesel, so I appreciate everyone's help and patience.

#2 injector feed line.

You can try and tighten it to see if you can get it to stop leaking. I did not get one tight on mine when I did injectors, and all I did was take off the 8mm nut that holds the injector nut lock on, and start the truck and tighten it until it quit leaking.

Thanks! Can I loosen the 8mm nut or do I need to remove it and the nut lock? I'll check it out when I get the oil leak fixed!
