I have an 05 duramax with the Edge, K+N air and 4" Corsa exhaust. My truck is dropping to safe mode when towing in #2 tow mode. Reverse works, but OD kicks out. If I pull over, turn it off, wait 5 minutes, all is normal except that the check engine light is on. The check engine light goes off after two or three starts and 100km.
The guages say that the tranny is not hot. Any ideas what is going on?

Some people have a meth habit others have a diesel habit you chose what one you would like you grandson to have then get back to us. I don't think that diesel is that bad of a habit there are worse ways to spend your play money. You have to have something you are passionate about.
