and worse comes to worse you need the updated harness and thats only 150 bucks and some light wiring

basically what you gotta do is take off the injector harness then use and ice pick or an all or something hard skinny and sharp (use your imagination) and shove it through the harness to crimp the contacts inside to make better contact with the injector
its not hard at all i can walk you through it on the phone...there are thread on it on DD and diesel place too but i cant find them right now for some reason

Very easy fix, took me an hour. Kit cost me $382 CA, they were going to charge me 4 hours labor but I did it myself. Send me an e-mail brianang@telusplanet.net and I will attach the picture of the repair kit, I wasn't able to attach to this forum for some reason??
ok so we fixed the injector... bought a new wiring harness everything was running great....
now the truck is smoking white everyonce and a while and dripping fuel? the wierd thing is doesnt do it all the time
and a time it will have powerloss but no check engine light

After my truck had the harness go bad and the dealer fixed it it did not run right. I was on my way to cali and I could not loss any more time. After it ran a while everything is fine. Not sure but I think the ECM had to relearn.
I had a power loss to under 2000 rpm then it would take off. No smoke thought. How long did you drive it in limp mode?
