so today are lly got powerloss and it started knocking real bad
went to autozone they checked it and 3 codes came up all dealing with injector # 7
but then we brought it home and turned it off and turned it back on it acted like nothing happen but the check engine light was still on
so any input?
and if it is the injector does anyone have directions on install
and correct if im wrong you dont have to take off the valve cover like lb7?

its probably the connector, they were bad from the factory, it will probably happen again, so fix asap, if you can find it pull apart and crimp down the female end with a small pointed tool, there may be a write up somewhere on how to do this

Like everyone else advised check the harness first, search ice pick for a wright up on how to correct this. If it ends up being an injector I believe number 7 is the drivers side closest to the firewall, its a pretty easy one to change and no you do not have to remove the valve cover....

does anyone no how hard it is to install an injector wiring harness? and could tell how hard it is and if i need to take it to the dealer
but we changed the injector... it was fried on the end
but the truck still isnt running right
we got 2 codes from it now
one is a voltage to the injector and the other is the code that it shuts down the 4 cylinders on the side of the bad injector
