Blew most of coolant out of reservoir

So over the week I had to move my brother from Durango to Denver. I was going over wolf creek pass (11,900 feet) my egt's were only 1150 when I smelt coolant and at the same time low coolant flashed in the DIC. I pull over and look under the hood to find the coolant reservoir almost completely empty and coolant all over the under side of the drivers side of the truck. Checked dipstick to see if I blew a head gasket and NO there was no coolant on the dipstick. Temp. gauge never got over 210, trans temp never got hot. After going over wolf creek pass there was only one more pass to go over but it was only 9500' and everything seemed fine after the first incident. Made it all the way back home let it sit for a 4 or 5 hours check hoses and they are not hard. Yesterday I put 18-20 psi through the cooling system to see if I could find a leak and nothing is visible. ---long winded sorry.

Anyone have any ideas what to look for. Also have not had any puddles or drops on the driveway. I took off my covers on the bottom to notice if I had any leaks.

Thanks Bryan

Blown head gasket...

FYI, you would have oil coming out the dip stick tube if you "holed" a piston...

How long did you drive the truck before you replace the head gaskets?

Wolf creek is a climb, did that with a trailer and 01 lb7 a few months ago to ATS. isnt that climb heading into Pagosa springs???

as far as your issue, maybe it was your lower rad hose that connects your degas bottle to your radiator... just a thought.

it makes every other pass seem simple.

Brian your talking about where the "TEE" in the line right. I had coolant residue on the lower hose but nothing on the block that i could tell.

Yeah right at the T. mine has come loose and dripped before, but not gushing out like it seems yours did

I crossed wolf creek bout 2 months ago, cold as hell and foggy as hell, fun pass though.
