No 4x4

Push button to 4hi and says it locks in but doesn't help please as a 2wd 2500 is a terd in the snow thanks

Could you guys help me with a 01 push button says it locks into 4hi but doesn't please help as a 2500 2wd is a terd in the snow

Check the ground wires to the frame.
Or it may be the switch itself.

Theres a actuator under there that gets cold and wont work. Do you park your truck inside or outside? If you can park it in a heated garage a night and see if that helps.

I had the a similar problem when i got my truck went to try out the 4 wheel drive and i worked. but the next time i tried it the light would light up but wouldnt engage. I had a good time trying to get out of the mess i was in. I took it to the dealer and the replaced a fualty actuator in the transfer case. It worked.
