concerned...goin down the highway in overdrive, truck lurches

when im driving down the highway doesn't really matter at what speed, the truck lurches every once in a while, not a surge, and the engine runs perfectly smooth, i think it has something to do with either the tranny or transfer case. also makes loud clicking/knockin noises when taking off which aren't coming from the engine. just replaced fuel filter about a week ago.

feels like tranny slippin maybe? but no matter how much it does it or how hard i push it, truck doesn't go into limp mode, although it did twice about two weeks ago, but it only started doin this the other day. like now, i can do a full throttle acceleration up to 80-90 mph and it doesn't go into limp mode but it feels like slippage

You might want to talk to IdahoRob. He is running a sale right now on a TTS upgrade kit and has a really good price on it. I would say change your filter and fluid and try that first before you spend the money on a upgrade. But if you are ready to upgrade check out the TTS kit. Also a stage III suncoast or Sage IV sucoast are both good kits.
