Edge Programmer Made My Truck Stall

I was down the Outer Banks this morning on my way home and my truck stalled twice going to take off from a red light. I had the tune in 3 (drive), had been driving for over an hour, it was almost 100 degrees outside at the time. The first time it stalled i was able to get it started and into a parking lot. I disconnected it, let it sit for a few minutes, and the hooked it back up. went to leave and it stalled again. I then disconnected it again and drove 400 miles home with no further problems. This is the warmest weather I have have ever driven in with the Edge, the AC was running. On the way down my monitor went out and I shut the truck off, wiggled all the wires, and it worked again.

What causes the truck the stall like this? Should I leave the chip out? The check engine light came on, but went off.

Thanks

You need to check the pins in the plugs and make sure that there are not any that are pulled out to far or or lose or bent.
