no crank, no start, nothing...

2004.5 LLY...i turn the key and the gauge backlight comes on as well as the battery light...no click, no crank, nothing...all accesories, radio, lighting, etc. function corrrectly; just no power to any other idiot lights within the guage cluster...could this mean my PCM is fried?? all fuses and relays check out, checked and rechecked looking at each one and with voltmeter...please help..thank you!

Check your batt. cables over good. And check your batt. Make sure you unhook them so that you get an accurate reading.

I had the same problem on my 01 lb7. Had to disconnect both batteries at same time and have them load tested. Ended up being both batteries were bad and only 2 years old. Haven't had a problem since.

are you refering to the ignition? or another switch? if it is ignition, can ireplace it myself or is that dealership work?

In the ignition. You can replace it your self. Did you unhook the batts. and then load test them? They need to be done not hooked together.

yes, checked both batteries unhooked, individually...meter reads between 12 to 14 volts...it doesnt do anything when i try to jump start it either...how mucht o replace the ignition switch and how?

you need to check the ign. switch before you replace it. easy way to rule out an ign. switch is measure your bat voltage should be around 12.3v now put your pos lead of your voltmeter on your ign.1 fuse and your neg on a good ground have someone try to crank the engine voltage should be pretty close to bat voltage if ign. switch is bad or atleast the curcit will read low like 4-8v good indicator if ign. switch is bad

What about the NSBU switch on the tranny? I've read other threads about it causing no start conditions...
