blue smoke

when my 01 chevy duramax reaches operating temp and oil thins out it has blue smoke out out the exhaust . it runs fine , this started about two weeks ago. and I've had ses lite with code p0093 large fuel leak detected. the smoke is obviously blue not black. any help?. 101k on miles.

Sounds like a bad injector, but also could be a bad fuel pressure regulator valve, fuel pump going bad or even a dirty fuel filter, but injectors are some what of a common problem on the early dmaxes. Have you ever had the injectors replaced in the 101k on the truck, if not you are extreemly lucky!! There is a extended warenty on the injectors on the 01 & 02 engines, 200,000 miles IIRC!

Stealer Has It

took it to the stealer today they called and said need to change the injectors and it will be a warrenty item. so we'll see thursday when i git it back.
