2004 3500 tranny problem

I have a 2004 duramax with 93000 miles and the tranny just started acting up. While driving at normal acccelleration the truck shifts fine but when i try to accellerate quickly it wont shift untill i back off the throttle! It also wont kick down while passing!! any help would be great

what mods do u have done to your truck....programmer???...just need a little info on what ya got on ur truck so we can try to figure out what happened to ya

only mods are 6inch stacks and boost increase valve from ppe

I have also changed the tranny fluid and fliter, the old fluid was still red and didn't smell burnt and there was no sign of metal shavings on the oil filter maganet, could this just be a simple fuel filter change?

Cant hurt to change it and see. I've heard of that happening due to a fuel filter
