Code Help!

I have a 2006 GMC Duramax, LBZ. My poor truck is trowin codes like crazy, so far the codes that I have come up with are. PO401, POO3A, PO108, PO299, PO234. I clear them out with my Edge chip and they'll come right back once I drive it again. I was going to take the chip off and take into the dealer, what should I expect when they look at it? and can I drive it for another week?

You need to fill out your signature so that people will know what mods you have done to your truck. Hard to diagnose anything without info.
003a-fuel vol. reg. cntrl. low
0108-map sensor
0299-T/S charger underboost
0234-overboost
p401- egr
I can't tell you what causes these but there are plenty of people on this site that can.
Post your mods and someone will help you.

Strange combination of codes. Clear the codes. Then disconnect the edge completly. See if the codes come back with the edge disconnected.

Are you using theturbo timer feature? If you are, then you need to set the Edge to clear DTC's upon startup. The TT feature sets dtc's every time it's activated, because the truck thinks something is wrong when ignition is off and key is not removed...Make sure the Edge is set to clear DTC's upon startup....

I was using the turbo timer, I shut it off this week to see if that was the problem. I dissconected the chip last weekend, I hooked it back up monday to pull the codes and that's what I found. The truck has a Afe stage 2 cold air intake and 4" exhaust, no cat.

well the straight pipe can cause the egr code, thats fairly common, is your afe an oiled filter? Idk much about afe's, but if it is then that could cause the MAF code, the oil gets on the maf sensor and messes it up and it'll throw a code. Not sure about the others, but I'd bet that your edge is causing them. Clear the codes, and completley disconnect all the edge stuff. Then drive it for a while. You'll probably still get the egr, and maybe the maf code too, but I'd bet the other ones go away!! Bad edge... bad!!

Yes the filter is an oil filter, I installed it @ about 15,000 miles and haven't had any problem with it in the last 25,000 miles. I did disconect the chip last weekend and drove it all weekend just stock, it still set all the same codes. The only reason I put the chip back on was to read the codes.

Check the wiring harness on the 24 and 36 pin connectors they May be loose, there also is a service bulletin posted for the egr code OPLIN Research Database Remote Access

If that link does not work, look in the DIY Forum for instrucitons on that website and how to access it

Good luck,
