HELP! Vacuum Pump

Fellas, I'm pretty sure this thing is almost kaput. The rattling has gotten louder than the actual motor and is really making me nervous. Does anyone know of a good aftermarket replacement? GMC Dealer wants $300 for it. Does anyone have any experience in replacing it? Is it a royal pain to get out? Does anyone have a schematic or drawing or maybe a dealer instruction on how to replace? Please help. We are going back and forth to Fall River every day for the next few weeks and can't afford to be down a truck for more than a day. HELP! BTW the truck is a 2003 Chevy 3500 LS LB7 auto CREW CAB 4X4 dually w/utility bed. 160k mi. no aftermarket parts yet. Please help. Thanks in advance. Your help is very much appreciated.

Well installing the pump is no big deal. The pulley may/may not come with new unit,if not, then you need a pulley puller to change it to new pump.DON'T get ''jaw'' type puller,it'll crack the edges of pulley!!But other than that, let er rip!!!

Do you know where I can get a replacement? Im having a hard time finding one. Trying to find an aftermarket. $300 is a little more than I want to pay. Any schematics out there? Thanks fellas.
