Wow I heard of it doing that to another truck and the comp had to be reflashed. Did you do anything weird during the install? Open the doors or left the radio on? Id try disconnecting the batterys for 20-30 min then hooking back up and seeing what it will do.
Id definatly call PPE tomorrow and tell them what happend.
P.S... Im gonna move this to 911 Urgent problems forum....

I pulled the fuses RADIO & INFO in an extra effort to NOT have these very types of issues. I can't seem to control all the automated crap in the truck lights are always comming on when I don't want them to and staying off if I need them. Very frustrating. Other than that.... the only other possible delema I was thinking was I went to a local distributor and they put a temporary tune on my truck about 2 months ago. The tune was supposed to remove itself after 3 cycles. Is it possible this is what has caused my trouble?

this may sound dumb, but you did have the key far enough forward right? i did it to mine thats why i ask, once i figured out the key wasn't far enough ahead it went great

Well I realize the Destructions say... turn the key to the on position. well besides the off position there are two distinct positions before you engage the starter. The first position energizes the tuner... the next turns alot more peripherals on which has to create more power fluxuations which are exactly what they say can cause problems... I dono... but I tried unsuccessfully both ways. I called the Manufacture today and the Tech appeared to be not overly concerned, I couldn't tell if it was just because, "It wasn't his truck" or if he just felt pretty confident that we could get the problem resolved. In anycase I will be on the phone with them tonight. They are open till 7pm Pacific time. I will post the results later this evening.
thanks

The second postion is the one you want and after you get it there make sure to turn you auto headlights back off, radio off, dome overide on, unplug anything in the cig lighter, and make sure the ac fan is off.

You were correct the correct setting is the second position and the rep said just leave the lights on. He asked me to put the fuses back in and make sure the radio and blower motor is off. After all that and several attempts, He decided to reset the PCM by turning the key on and off 3 times, without the tuner plugged in. At that time it still wouldn't start BUT... we were finally able to communicate with the PCM. At that point we uploaded the factory tune... Voila, MY TRUCK LIVES... Then we restarted the tuning process, successfully this time. the guys were great, patient and clearly spoke English! Big plus. All in all I am very happy that I didn't have to take the truck back to the dealership to immediately void my warranty. Thanks for everyone's prompt responses and I hope this thread may come in handy for someone else attempting to tune their truck for the first time, in the middle of the night without any support.
So far I have not pushed it but on the 90hp tune, I have a very noticeable increase in Power. But, I honestly really just want mileage.
thanks again

I've never had a problem with my PPE. I always turn everything off. I've never pulled a fuse. Glad you got it figured out. The worst is when you go to the dealer for some service(tuner removed) and they update your truck with some software and your tuner won't load back up. This happened to me while I was sitting right outside the dealer! The owner looked at me like I fell off the turnip truck! It wouldn't load, it would just sit there for about 10 minutes, saying it was Checking my stock data. I called PPE and they told me to download the latest Software from them and update the tuner and Presto! I got POWER!!!
