I had 285 then wore them out went to 265's sold them andwent back to 285 for looks.

Personally, there is little performance difference betweent he two. But, the 265 gets about 1-2 mpg better mileage than the 285 does. I dont drive mine all the time so I was ok with the loss. If you drive it everyday and want to save fuel the 265 is where you want to go.

The 07.5+ trucks have a closer bumper than the older ones. Also the whol bumper is metal and cant be trimmed like the old body style. I know I had to crank the t bars and do some trimming to get my 285's to fit on my truck.
