Hey guys! New to the site. I am wondering if there is an easy way to get my truck to have a lope idle. I have heard of a switch being run of the fuel regulator valve? How would I go about doing that? Also anyone know any other ways to get it to lope besides efi?

Thanks for the quick replies guys! I know EFI does it. One of my buddys has it on his truck but it only lopes for the first two minutes of start up. Should I send Idahorob a PM?

ya if your friend has efi live rob can make your tune and then have your friend install it for you.

Well my friend had Brayden Fleece Of Fleece Performance install the tune with 3 way switch so my bud doesnt have the computer software of the programmer or anything like that. Can Rob make me a tune with the switch and then send it to me or does he need my truck to actually be there. I just moved to alabama and there are practically no diesel shops here.Im from Indy and theres plenty up there!

how does ur friend like the tunes from brayden? I havent decided which shop to take my truck to around here(im from greencastle, about 45 mins from indy). I only know one person who has brayden's tune and i dont think his truck was that much better than my edge juice w/ attitude. thanks for the help im trying to get a little more info before i choose where to have my efi live installed. I know danville performance is local and does some pretty good tunes also.

He loves it. Hes got more money than I do haha. He works for Vectren up there. Im from Elwood,IN about 25 mins North of Noblesville.Hes Got a 3 way switch its 1st stock 2nd 75 and 3rd is extreme not sure how much hp. but its pretty damn fast hes got 20's with 35's and it will light the tires up through 3rd gear. Hes also got the suncoast trans upgrade i think its stage 3. I personally know the owner of Danville performance his truck is pretty sick. Brayden, I have been told invented EFI and everyone I know loves his work his products and they didnt do too shabby at dhra this year either. I think he does a 3way switch for $300. I know Crank it up Diesel does a 2 or 3 way for around $275. Danville Performance's Price is around $500-550 with a 5 way switch. I would personally go with Brayden. Ive heard nothing but good from him. Hope this helps you.

thanks for the help. I have talked to larry at danville and kyle from crank it up, he did my buddys truck and its a pretty sick machine.. i have only talked to brayden once he started his pullin my truck for me and it is one awesome soundin truck. When it comes time i will def. stop by and get with brayden about a tranny and efi live...
