so, i've arguably done something stupid. I don't think so, but you may disagree, i have a 2007.5 chevy crew cab with the lmm and the allison six speed. well, i put a 14" lift on it and now i'm running 40 inch tire with no other mods whatsoever. i expected to have to re gear, and i hear i need to upgrade the torque invertor and flywheel. thing is, my rpm's are normal, the truck still accelerates nicely, and my trans temp has yet to rise above 124 degrees. so, do i really need to make any more upgrades, i know each upgrade has a benefit, and i understand that i have added alot of rotating weight and framatically altered the final drive ratio, but i see no bad effects like i was anticipating, so again, what should i upgrade and why?
I don't have any advise but I'd sure like to see some pictures

Love this truck....HATE the fuel economy yea yea, I know it's a truck, and YES I want the same mpg as a Civic
I agree, get some pics up. I don't know much about it but I'd say you are fine, you dont need to fix it if its not broken. If you do have the money go with a suncoast converter, might as well do a stage III or IV, you'll love the way it shifts. I like lifted trucks and like to look at them so I definitely don't think the 14'' lift is stupid, I'm sure it looks cool but its not something I would want to own and drive unless I had a spare daily driver.

Keep the power level stock, and you should be OK. Run a tuner and you'll be needing a tranny.

i'll take a few pics today, i', still fab'ing bumpers to be reasonably street legal so in my mind, i don't want to many people to see what i've done b4 in my head its done. which is never. but i do plan on some power adders, a tuner, not with a 215 hp tune, but 35-50, a dpf delete, and maybe a air intake, but i agree, if its not broke, don't fix it, but obviously, i know i've changed alot, and those changes may require other changes to keep my truck streetable because, this is going to be my daily driver.
