The newer trucks have what it called a cat. It is actually a doc (diesel oxygen catalyist). The only way your LB7 will have on e is if it was a CA truck. There is a big performance difference. It is just like taking the cat off a car.

the clean fleet models have that exhaust package too, they were sold throughout the states,so it is possible he's got one on there....
You can ID these quickly by raising hood and looking for the emission canisters, they are up front by the radiator[driver side, iirc]

look either under the truck and see what u have,or check the rpo numbers in glove box on white sticker...
Look at the x-haust and under the hood, that'll tell you if the vehicle is a CFFV[clean fleet]or a CA emissions package.....
A cat back exhaust simply bolts behind the cat, leaving the factory x-haust intact and a cat back is wasting cash IMO,unless you're in it just for the sound rather than the performance.....

NO,the cat back is decoration or sound IMO...The turbo back will, but the cat back probably does not,in your sig it says kitty gone....I am confused at why you'd get a x-haust you could not use in the first place??Not bashing, just askin.....

i still don't know what the question is Jake......Get the turbo back, since there is no cat to be cat backed on...Some minor fab work is prob necessary, but that's pretty easy stuff..
