hey guys (and gals),

I just joined to help out my friend who has an 05 chevy 6.6.. he has 5'' exhaust, PPE (switching to EFI soon), Idaho Rob Tranny is being put in next week, AFE stage 2 intake, autometer gauges, 18x10 ion wheels, 09 led cab lights,... he has a very clean looking truck... I have an 05 6.0 powerstroke (I know lol) I love my truck but im not so nieve that I don't realize that I have to spend just as much money to keep it from blowing up as I do in mods... i do like my truck though.. i have 4'' duals, SCT tuned by innovative, egr delete, etc... my friend with the Dmax and I take pride in our rides.. I have been a member of superdutydiesel.com for 5 years and I explained to him that the knowledge you can get form these forums is unbelievable so here i am on his behalf....

he wants to know if he can do a high idle mod? and any other mods that don't cost much and either I can do them or he can do them with basic tools. I have a high idle on mine and an intake mod that is simple.

Welcome to the site! Only thing you need to finish that 6.0L is studs.

yeah I have done my homework and know exactly what needs to be done to make it reliable... im hopefully meeting with bill cohron and Brian from BTS in the next couple of weeks.. it just so dang pricey like everything i suppose... Im goin to be on this account until i can get my friend goin then he will take over so he gets in the groove of things.. he sees some of the simply mods i've done and was wondering if he could do similar mods to his truck...

PCV reroute
