Most of your weight on the truck will be from the camper. The weight of the boat would be on the camper axles for the most part. You should be able to tow that with no problem. The dually will mainly give you a little less sway.I personally dont think it would be worth the money.

I have towed with both and drw is a lot better for not swaying the big 18 wheelers have dualls for a reason i have seen some non duall semi trucks but if you think about it you will have 8 side walls for anti sway compaired to just 4 on a srw and if pulling dubbles im just saying more is better right???

you can do all that stuff, but when you get pulled over by the dot all they care about is the sticker in the door. in there mind its all about gvw. so you go and do all this extra work and now you have a one ton setup, it cant do anything for you because the sticker in the door says 3/4 ton and that is what they will go off of.

^^^this is true also,if you exceed the gvwr, you may just get a hefty fine...The gvw on my 3/4 is 9800 IIRC...

I guess I should have just bought a dually from the start...I'm OK with my SRW now but was just wondering for future use...I plan on having this truck for a long while.

Well keep in mind also, the 3/4 is still good for 22,000 lbs, ain't too shabby for a 3/4 ton truck.Sway bar,and a WDH may help you depending on what you plan to load er with,I have towed 20,000 with mine[3/4] and it handled it like a champ!!!
