Road armour bumpers

So I was about to order a front and rear road armour bumper, when the parts guy mentioned that if i get a big front bumper like that, and i get in a accident, it will affect my airbags. they might deploy late, or not at all. Is this true? if it is i dont think its worth maybe dieing for...

Hmm I never looked at it like that but I guess it could! It depends on where the sensor is though some of them are behind the bumper and some of them are right behind the grille.

That really would be a tuff one though. In a slower accident the bumper might save your truck from damage and not deploy the air bag (sometimes totaling the truck). Id have to say in a high speed acident where you need them the bags would still deploy.

Alien patrol is the same as Road Armor...they are not better...and go to pavementsucks.com and you'll see that Alien Patrol is having the same problems that Road Armor is in terms of customer service.....
