Dually to SRW conversion/swap

Has anybody ever done this? I know it does not makes sense but a dually for me is not practical anymore after I gave up the hotshot business! I was thinking of making it into a SRW. The back is not a problem, looks like just swapping beds and rear end would do the trick. The front looks like I would have to get the hub's from a SRW truck. Thought's and ideas from all are welcome!

I have not done it, but IIRC all you have to do for the front is remove the spacers and a normal 8 Lug wheel will work.

I agree with Big red, I think all you have to do is pull the spacer off the hub.

I have to agree as well. You chould be able to remove the spacers and possibly the calipers and it will be fine!

Perosnally if you go on enough of these forums you'll probably find someone who will trade you straight up or give you some $$$ for the parts! Check these forums I think about a month ago someone wanted to go from a SRW to a Dually!

Yeah, locations aside, I think you can find someone to swap parts with. If you are really lucky you'll find someone with the same color truck!

There was a post the other day where a man wanted to switch from a SRW to a Dually. Might want to try and find that thread and talk to him.
