New to Chips... Please explain using all that power!
I am just about to Chip my first Diesel. Reading lots on this forum people talk about using the lower power settings for towing, and mid power settings for regular driving.. The 4's & 5's seem just for showing off. For a newbie, can someone explain why you need lower settings for towing and the general philosophy on power settings?

Sorry.. I just updated my signature.. still need to take a truck picture to upload.. I do a lot of trailer pulling with my truck, often 4000 to 6000 pounds. So, looking for both power boost and milage.

I would honestly go with the PPE tuner over the edge. There have been quite a few guys on here with problems with the edge. And with the PPE you won't be tempted to reach up and turn it up to smoke somebody and then turn it back down. That is what's hard on the trannt as well as going over too much extra power. The predator is also a good one too.
