I Just had a Diesel speciality shop install my exhaust, intake and the Edge on my previously stock LB7. Nice improvement but I guess I was expecting more out of an additional 90 HP. I read about guys smoking the tires on there trucks with the same mods but I would be hard pressed to get mine to chirp. I tested the 60 MPH time on level 1 (40 HP) with a result of 8.3 sec. I then tested it on level 4 (90 HP) with a result of 7.9 sec. This is only an improvement of 4 tenths of a second. does this sound right? Perhaps I need to adjust some settings on the Attitude ie: Low boost fueling, Shift defueling? What should this be set at?

Don't turn off the defuel if you have a stock tranny. It won't last long. ALso everytime you change the power level, the tranny has to learn the shifts and how you drive.

These are just some things I have found with mine. I was pretty dissatified with mine when i first got it, but after messing with it I am more than happy and have been running it for year and a half with no issues so far.the low boost fueling makes a big difference when you turn it up, you have to set them for each power level i believe, also check your alerts as to where it starts cutting back I think out of the box mine were pretty low ex. egts, boost limits. Another thing is if you have cold engine protection turned on and it is not up to temp it doesnt do much until it is warmed up you can tell how much it is cutting back if you have your display set to show backdown% i believe it is called. if you just jump in and jump in the throttle it is basically running stock until up to temp. hope this helps some.

For the most part I have mine (with 285's) set on level one with the low boost set at 2 and sometimes 3. I also have the PPE boost valve installed and I opened up my intake a bit. That pretty well satisfys my need for a responsive ride balanced with mileage most of the time. Level three is great...Lots of power and super responsive. Level 5 - well that's another story. I stepped on the gas one time getting on the freeway and I thought I was gonna go through the tailgate and I threw a smoke screen to boot.
Mess with the low boost fueling a bit and make sure you have the updated version (it should be 4.4 I think). I just sent mine in and they updated it for free and had it back to me in about a total of 4 days turnaround doorstep to doorstep. Also, make sure your air and fuel filters are clean.

I am happy with mine so far and yes you need to defuel if you want to save your drive train especially while pulling. When I first installed mine I decided to punch it while getting on the highway and no 1-4 defuel. She lit them up in a heart beat slid a little to the side, bit the asphalt and tore off. After that I didn't think my gasser was so great anymore. I have only used level 1 and 2 and I have a 4" down pipe back minus the particulate filter and I have a banks ram air box. My main motivation for purchasing is always fuel economy and towing power.

Set it on level 3 set it to defuel all shifts to save the trans and turn you low boost fueling for level 3 all the way up and leave it there so the trans can learn the shifting and after 250-300 miles you will be happy.
Those big 35's have a lot of contact area with the ground. You have to consider that a good portion of the extra 90 hp is being used up turning those.
^^^I'm with this guy too....35's are a pretty big jump from stock 245's....and those HP numbers at rear wheel and crank were tests on stock trucks.... Those bigger tires also put more strain on the tranny, so keep that in mind too when upping the HP and doing 0-60 times....
