Hey, i didnt create the petition, im simply passing it along. Im not here to debate with anyone or argue. Sign it if you want, Ignore it if you dont . That simple guys. I understand everyones frustration and fear of big brother coming after you next time you go in for an inspection etc.

While it sounds good in theory, asking (petitioning) the Environmental Protection Agency to go easy on diesel emissions equipment is akin to trying to dam up the Mississippi with a pair of beavers. I don't disagree that often vehicles run worse with emissions equipment on but it's all a matter of optics.

You have never been more wrong in your entire life. It is a waste of time because petition after petition threads have been posted here. Why a waste of time you ask? The petition gets 25k signatures and goes out for review by the gov't & EPA. They decided .01% doesn't agree with them. They laugh & throw it out. Just like states trying to succeed from the Union. You don't think they already know some people are pissed off? Wrong. They know & don't care. Now for starting the petition you, or whoever did, have wasted the time of 25k citizens. That simple. The fact that you assume someone voted for a Democrat, simply because they are smart enough to know a petition isn't going to make a flying f*ck of a difference, implies you aren't very enlightened on the situation.

Which directly points out the "smart" person that "knows" petitions dont make a difference, you are wrong. Furthermore, i dont think Pure.Vida was saying you voted democrat, more so that your thoughts of "dont,wont,cant,make a difference" inclined him to believe that you possibly didnt think it would "make a difference" if you voted. Its simply the "Cant do, Impossible, Not gonna happen" NEGATIVE attitude that gets us nowhere. Be Positive! Even if you disagree, thats perfectly fine. No hard feelings from this guy

I understand. The other petitions that were started haven't made a difference. It's not a negative attitude that I have, sometimes you have to pick and choose your battles. In this case, its a losing battle with the EPA which is what I was trying to explain. I just don't see them going back on it anytime soon and I'm sure everyone can agree.

You probably are right about the other petitions on HERE, i havent seen any so i wouldnt have any experience, my experience is with petitions from change.org which have had success. Who knows what the EPA will do, I dont see them doing anything in the near future either but nor am i one to not take the chance to atleast give it a shot. Thats all i am doing and the other people that have signed it. Afterall we are rooting for the same team! DURAMAX, unless ofcourse it becomes a GMC/Chevy battle in which we all know GMC is professional Grade

While it does suck that the EPA cracked down, you have to think that it was only a matter of time.

They are only doing their job, like it or not.
